The Chesterfield Hillclimb (Strava segment) is a 6.0 mile, moderate climb. The climb starts in Williamsburg at the intersection of Routes 9 and 143. It climbs steeply initially, and then includes some rolling descents from between miles 2.5 and 4.5, before climbing again to the finish in the center of Chesterfield at the intersection of North and South Streets. Riders are responsible for their own timing, so make sure that you have a cycle computer or watch. You must come to a complete stop at the start line. The course gains 1,068 feet over 6.0 miles, for an average gradient of 3.3%.
