Another awesome turnout at the start (for such a chilly day)- I counted 18 or so, and a couple of new faces. On Bay Rd a bit of the pent up winter/spring energy gapped the paceline a bit, but not for too long.

While some may say it is too cold in the morning to do these rides, I say suck it up and enjoy. The roads are still (relatively) clean and salt free, so why not take advantage?
Well, no ghosts or goblins on this ride today. Just tired legs.

Route goals were as posted above — flat roads out and back to get us to some new (to me) climbs in northern Franklin County. We rolled out with a dozen or so riders under clear skies, but less than 45 minutes into the ride, the skies started getting darker to the west, and soon we were in sprinkles that became a steady rain as we rolled north through Whately and Deerfield.
Great ride today. We started with around 15 riders from the Academy, with a route plotted out by Tim of around 55 miles with four major climbs.
