Once in a while, it is fun to ride to, and up, the highest peak in our state. We could not have had better weather conditions today. Seven riders felt the pain today, but two completed their first ever ascent on a bike to Greylock!

Staying on trend, we had another remote start for our Saturday B ride. Dusty put together another amazing route that took us to Readsboro, VT.
This week, we met for the B ride in Westfield to ride south-west of the state border around the beautiful Barkhamsted Reservoir. Despite the harsh climbs, a bee sting, and a bit of dehydration, we all had a great ride.
We had seven riders on a steamy day enjoy a beautiful route up to the Patten district.
We had a really great group of about fourteen riders for our trek out to the Skyline Trail. We finally had an amazing day to ride.
It was forecasted to be another hot and humid day. Thankfully Dusty planned another great route that had plenty of shade and water stops.
Our group of 12 rode a relatively short and not hilly route on the east side of the river.
After several weeks of epic late spring/early summer weather, Saturday suddenly showed up as if it was April. I was excited and looking forward to leading my first SMR of the year, but the weather forecast dampened that feeling most of the week. The C ride started on time, so now we know which group are the real hardy ones 🙂
