We had another small group today for the B ride. The weather was prefect, the route amazing- taking us the opposite direction than we normally ride it up to the Patten district of Shelburne. I even got to test my bike handling skills on a fast descent.

We had a very small group on the B ride today due to all the events locally and regionally. It was a slower, more scenic ride on familiar roads, but in the opposite direction than we normally ride them.

This week the weather was not much different than last, another hot and humid ride, but full beautiful scenery, a new (to me) difficult climb, and another unexpected “bridge out” crossing!

On a beautiful Saturday, and with a request, it was time to take the B ride to an annual favorite: the town of Peru. We battled the west wind most of the day, and had one broken wheel, but it was a challenging and beautiful ride.

With the weather forecast telling us the temperatures would be in the high 90’s (F) for today, I moved the ride start to 8AM hoping to beat the worst heat of the day.  (Spoiler alert: it really did not matter!)

We had another gorgeous day for our NCC rides this morning. It was a little more humid than we have gotten used to, but the temperature never rose above the low eighties.
