We wrapped up the season with an extra-long race (40 miles) on the streets of London. Good turnout with five riders in the B race and two in the C race.

Fast race tonight, with some strong riders at the front pushing the pace across all the categories.
We returned to the Crit City Boost Mode this week.
Great NCC turnout, with five racers in the B group (Charlie, Zinj, Kevin, Mike H, and myself) and three in the C’s (Michael B, Chris J, and Melissa, making her return to the racing scene after an IRL tumble a few weeks ago).
General consensus was that this race was fast and difficult, which was borne out in my lap times, which were both PRs, and about 30 seconds faster than the last time we raced here a few weeks ago.
The LaGuardia Loop is pretty flat, so most of the riders coalesced into a few large groups that stayed pretty stable for the whole race until the last half of the final lap.
The novelty factor in this race was the Boost Mode, which has been around in Zwift since April, but which was new to all of us in the race.
Tonight was the second week of the fall Monday night Zwift race series, two laps on the Champs-Élysées, which is a great course for racing.
