Climbing some of the Pioneer Valley’s best and most challenging gravel roads.
NOTICE: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Massochistah is canceled. We thank you for your support and hope to see you in 2021!
Each year, the Massochistah calls gravel riders to Western Massachusetts’ mud, dirt, and possibly even snow. The routes, affectionately know as the Dirty (30 miles), the Hurty (50 miles), and the Gurty (70 miles), climb 1,000 feet for every ten miles.
Don’t worry, our rest stops will provide plenty of food and drink to give you energy for the epic adventure.
The routes depart from and finish at the Ashfield Lakehouse. Food and drink is will be available at the Ashfield Lakehouse. For the afterparty, we even have a band, Jermiah Hazed is in the House, playing music and, for those old enough, local beer.
