Another high-ish mileage ride drew about a dozen riders. The threat of rain and storms never panned out. It was a slog with the humidity and challenging climbs, but a great group for a fun day covering some areas we don’t get to very often.

This week we stretched out the mileage a bit to experience the Mohawk Trail, a beautiful climb to Savoy, and a relaxing and quiet descent into Cummington.
A little chill in the air today, but it was sunny! We had a great ride that took us over the border in to Connecticut.
A perfect weather day called for some beautiful (but challenging) riding up to the Berkshire county town of Peru, which is the highest altitude municipality in Massachusetts at 2064′.
It was raining. But we forged on and made it a great day!
A beautiful but longer route, tough climb in the middle, and even more pain into the head winds heading home.
It was hot. It was humid. We had seven riders at the start and three at the end. We did a lot of steep climbing and descending.
