As our 2021 outdoor group riding season comes to an end, we hope you had a chance to enjoy some great group riding. Despite dealing with one of the rainiest summers ever and a Covid-shortened season, there were some really fun rides this year.

Time for another NCC gravel ride. This route is not to be taken lightly and all riders should be self sufficient with spare parts and plenty of water.
This week’s Tuesday C ride was a single group in unusually good weather. We left Pulaski Park with 13 riders and did a new route with a little less mileage but more climbing.
Tuesday’s C ride had two sections, with 10 riders in the faster, more experienced group and 5 in the introductory group — and NO RAIN!
Two rides are posted for Tuesday’s C Ride. One of 25 miles with a target finishing average of 16 mph, the other at 20 miles with a target finishing average of 13 mph. Forecast looks good!
NCC’s first Sunday Gravel Ride of 2021 leaves from Pulaksi Park in Northampton at 9:00 AM on July 11th!
By popular demand, we are splitting the C Ride on Tuesday into two sections to accommodate riders of different speed and experience.
With all the storms we’ve had lately and a warning from the National Weather Service about scattered storms, we set out on a figure 8 route that would allow a quick exit in case thunderstorms rolled in.
