We had a great WNR last night. There were 14 with 4 off the front at the A ride split.

Surprise! Rain – 40% at 7 pm with a little lightning bolt.
When I was driving home from Springfield around 5 pm in the torrential downpour, I looked at the weather app again, and saw that it was raining.
Oops. The weather app is out to embarrass me. The system has passed and the riding looks good for tonight. Accordingly the WNR is uncancelled. See you this evening
Rather than spend another Wednesday hovered over my weather app, I am cancelling tonight’s ride now.
Tonights WNR is cancelled, I guess. So is the WNR Ride report.
Another beautiful Wednesday evening attracted about 35 riders to the Academy. We had a short discussion about the merits of a group ride where the A Riders separate in an orderly fashion from the B riders after a pleasant 18-20 mph four mile warm-up.
All of us, the A and B riders, started together at a good social pace, and there was lots of chatter and good will.
