My intent was to take the group on the Rattle Hill – Glendale Ridge route. As we rolled out, I loaded the route on my Garmin. I was not wearing my reading glasses, so I loaded the Hemingway Loop!

It was a hot and humid ride this evening. The weather at the start of the ride was around 92 degrees, but it felt like 96!
The weather was a bit iffy this evening, but that did not discourage our 14 riders.
On our ride back to Northampton, we saw a couple of lightning strikes in the distance. The ride was great and the rain was even a bit refreshing.
Despite brief periods of rain earlier in the day, the roads were dry and the sun was out. In fact, it was a gorgeous evening. The only challenge was the tremendous headwind!
After the first two Tuesday C rides of the season were cancelled due to inclement weather, it was great to kickoff the ride for 2022!
It likes to rain on Tuesdays. The C ride for tonight is cancelled again. Let’s hope for sunny weather next week.
