The Northampton Cycling Club is supporting this ride financially and will not hold our Saturday B ride or Saturday C group rides to encourage members to participate in this event.

The B race this week was fun despite grey skies and terrible air quality. If you ever considered racing, come over to Hadley next week and join the low key fun with your fellow NCC members and the JAM team!
The TT was canceled this evening but that doesn’t mean that nobody did the course earlier in the day. In fact, there were 5 of us that, for one reason or another, went out before the wind a-started a-howlin’ and the particulates from the Canadian fires a-started a-blowin’.
Stormy-looking skies didn’t stop our Monday Intro Ride from tackling the Hatfield route.
We rode a 30 mile loop from Florence to Haydenville, Whately, to South Deerfield and back through Hatfield.
On Saturday we had nine riders brave the gray skies for what turned out to be a pretty great ride.
After several weeks of epic late spring/early summer weather, Saturday suddenly showed up as if it was April. I was excited and looking forward to leading my first SMR of the year, but the weather forecast dampened that feeling most of the week. The C ride started on time, so now we know which group are the real hardy ones 🙂
The JAM Fund family has traveled the globe seeking roads and trails that can stand up to the ones we ride everyday in Western Massachusetts. We’re ready to let you in on our best kept secret. The greatest, most beautiful, most incredible place for riding bikes in the WORLD.
