The 2024 Hatfield Lions Club Annual Bike Tour will be held Saturday, June 8th. The proceeds from the event will support eye research, the traditional cause for the Lions Club.

The Northampton Cycling Club is supporting this ride financially, and it encourages its members to ride for this worthy cause. Last year, the NCC had 50 members participate in the event.

The Annual Bike Tour will leave from the Lions Club Pavilion (15 Billings Way, Hatfield, MA 01038), a familiar location for many cycling events in the Pioneer Valley.

The entry fee is $40 per rider. Riders may register in advance through BikeReg, and day of registration will also be available at the event. Pre-registered riders will receive a complementary t-shirt.

There will be three ride options, all starting at 8 AM: 25 miles, 35 miles, and 50 miles. Last year, several NCC riders extended the 50 mile route into a metric century.

After the ride, there will be a pasta lunch. In addition, since this is taking place in Hatfield, baked potatoes will also be served.
