Week four of our fall race series took us to Watopia’s Big Loop course, a climb up the Epic KOM followed by a jaunt through the jungle en-route to a finish downtown. Melissa and I were joined by a surprise guest appearance from Jamie, who has apparently been using his downtime from work to ride his bike a lot. Our lead group broke up right away on the big climb, Melissa fell back a bit but made a big move to rejoin the front group. Melissa and I slid back, while Jamie powered forward as we moved through the jungle loop. By the time we got to the end, Jamie’s small group had opened up a big gap, earning him an 11th place finish.
