Today’s weather could have gone several different ways. Luckily, it was pretty good. A few raindrops here and there, a few kilometers of wet road but things worked out way better than I expected.
12 riders did the hillclimb tonight – Eddie in his first NCC Tuesday event (he and I had a great battle), Thom took a convincing win, Charlotte was on fire, and Tim P had the only PR of the night (1 second!), Henry had a dropped chain and Zinj, once again, demonstrated his love of even numbers. Andy keeps his overall and HC leadership.
A reminder, once more, that if you’re a big TdF fan like I am, listen to my segment titled “The Bicycle Grief” on the Judge John Hodgman podcast (Episode 623: The Bicycle Grief | Maximum Fun).
