Today’s Monday morning took us to from Florence to Historic Deerfield riding through Haydenville, and scenic Whately and returning via South Deerfield and Hatfield.
We were 5 in all but John turned back in Whately to be gentle on his recovering body (from a hilly Century 2 days ago!).
We stopped for a nature break at the Whately Library, and Historic Deerfield, and got a snack at Ciesluk’s market in South Deerfield.
The pace was on the brisk side (14.8 mph average from my Wahoo) due to the group’s high enthusiasm.
I’m realizing that many of our favorite bakeries are closed on Mondays, so some research into bakeries that are open on Monday is in order.
