After taking a week off for Memorial Day, the Intro Ride was back on the road tonight. Jeanne, Kevin, and Adam joined Ari and me for a quick lap of our Hatfield route, featuring the flattest course in our Intro Ride repertoire. It was a strong, well-matched group that worked well together, and we made good time throughout the course. In the final run down River Road, Ari suggested we work on paceline formation, which turned out great — a well-organized machine with small gaps between riders and clean rotations from the front to the back.

The dreary-looking weather looked pretty uncomfortable out the window during the day, but turned out to be quite nice once we got on the road, with temperatures in the low-to-mid 60s. We were surrounded by scary-looking dark clouds, but never felt a drop of rain.

Next week we’ll be tackling our Easthampton route — hope to see you out there!
