In the cycling world, a gran fondo is a massive group ride/race that can attract riders numbering in the thousands, encompassing all ages and ability levels. The Grand Fundo removes all the racing aspects from the ride, but keeps all the fun. We have titled this ride a Grand FUN-do, because we think it could be the most fun you’ll have on a bike this season.
A BRAND NEW FUNDO.
After last year’s move to the Cummington Fairgrounds, we are doubling down on the new location with a bigger and better event than ever before. This includes a new 85 mile adventure route on mostly dirt roads and trails. This route will take 5 plus hours and is only meant for the toughest of the tough. Additionally, join us for camping Saturday night at the fairgrounds, where we will enjoy s’mores and trade stories over the campfire. Returning from last year is a delicious VIP Dinner at The Chesterfield General Store and Cafe and a feast after the ride. The Grand Fundo is not just a bike ride, it’s a weekend long celebration!

The JAM Fund is a registered 501c3, created by Jeremy Powers, Alec Donahue, and Mukunda Feldman. Our mission is to help motivated young cyclists reach their potential both on and off the bike, while not being limited by finances.

Every dollar raised through the JAM Fund Grand Fundo goes directly to the JAM Fund.
This year, we will give out 23 grants to up and coming athletes who pledged to promote the sport of cycling through community service and stewardship of the sport.
RIDE.
The one-day, multi-route ride starts and ends at the gorgeous Cummington Fairgrounds, with new adventure options. We have 3 incredible gravel routes, including the classic Grand Fundo (55 miles), the Mini Fundo (30 miles), and our supersized Adventure Route (85 miles)! All of the rides are fully-supported with rest stops (including our famous ice cream truck), SRAM support vehicles, and a sag wagon for stragglers.
FEAST.
People have been known to sign up for the Fundo JUST because of the post-ride feast. Immediately after the rides, we party! Join us as we eat, drink and, celebrate bikes, raffle off prizes, and announce the 2022 JAM Fund Grant Recipients. We’re proud to award grants to young cyclists in and around Massachusetts who show enthusiasm, determination, and desire to be their best.
