Amazing weather greeted the thirteen riders for the Saturday C ride.
The crew was in high spirits as we made our way down the bike path starting out on our 35 mile ride. The group consisted of some seasoned riders, some relatively new club members who had cut their teeth on the Monday intro ride and at least one new member who was enjoying his first club ride with us.
Obviously we are early in the season and our fitness is at different levels, but that was okay, it’s a C ride and everyone did well.
We took an indirect route up to the Williamsburg General Store and after a quick stop to refuel we made the turn back to Northampton.
All in all, it was a great ride. It is always a pleasure to meet new riders and catch up with old friends.
It took us about 2 and a half hours, we went about thirty five miles and climbed about 2000 feet.
Don’t forget to sign up for our NCC rides on Link My Ride. As the ride leader, it was great to know who was attending, answer questions about the ride, and get notice that one rider was meeting us on the route today.
