We stayed with a flat ride this evening and rode the Tick Tock route in Watopia.
We had five riders (Chris, Henry, Tim, Zinj, and me) for our 60 minute ride.
This was Chris’ second day on Zwift, but he is picking it up quickly. He even joined us on Discord video.
Zinj told us about the tree that fell into his garage! He does not have luck with trees.
Tim filled us in on his recent trip to Aruba. Henry is very familiar with the island and visits Aruba to surf. His nickname may change from “Dutch Henry” to the “Most Interesting Man in the World.”
Zinj shared his continued adventures fine-tuning his 3D printed saddle. He is now refining the covering to improve the saddles’ looks. Zinj and Henry also had a very detailed conversation about virtual reality gear.
Chris earned the “Can’t Stop Now” (first 10 miles on Zwift) achievement and the Tick Tock route achievement, which doubled his XP points for the first lap. He completed level 2 and earned his avatar the Zwift Black Helmet.
In total, we rode approximately 20 miles with 315 feet of climbing.
I’ll put details about a Saturday Zwift ride up soon. Don’t forget that the New Year’s Day Outdoor Temperature Ride is scheduled for Sunday. It is supposed to be in the 50s at noon, so it could be a longer ride than expected!
Our normal Zwift schedule resumes next week, including the Hill Climb/Time Trial on Tuesday and the Race Series on Thursday.
