Tonight’s race had a bit of an echo chamber feel, as I was the only NCC participant among 130 starters. We raced two laps of the Suki’s Playground course in Yumezi, with one big climb and one little climb each lap. Three riders went off the front the first time up the climb, I got dropped the third time up the climb, and limped home in a group of two, ending up finishing 10th in-game. Melissa checked in on Discord mid-race, taking an easy day to save herself for this weekend’s Northampton CX race, but apart from that it was a lonely slog to the finish.
