It was some spirited racing this evening for the 6 pm race for 18 of us and also spirited (I assume) for the other 6 folks that did this hillclimb earlier in the day. The wind might have been a larger factor earlier as I felt that it was kind of a non-issue for the mass start 6 pm’ers.
I tried to shame Melissa into hosting an impromptu lobster and margherita after party at her house at the top of the hillclimb but I guess she didn’t already have all the necessary ingredients on hand. What kind of people are these Shutesburians?? I thought most households had at least 24 lobsters on hand at any given time, just in case.
Strava times today were running from 20 to 45 seconds faster than actual times so I added 30 seconds to the Strava-only times. Hope the results look more-or-less correct.
PRs were posted today for Patrick S (2 seconds), Henry W (39 seconds) and Donna W (22 seconds).
