Week 7 Results: NCC Zwift Winter Road Race Series, 2/17/22

Tonight’s race took us to the Champs-Élysées in Paris, with what I think was a record-setting group of 11 NCC racers joining a field of 42 total riders for two laps of the classic TdF finishing route. The pace in the early sections was pretty moderate, prompting Patrick and then Dusty to take a couple flyers off the front, but nothing was going to stick on this mostly-flat course, and the attacks were quickly reeled in. It was great to see almost the entire NCC field stay together in the lead group all the way to the finish; by the end about half the pack was wearing blue-and-white jerseys.
