We continued our tour of the new roads on Makuri Island. Iggy, Melissa, Tim, and I rode multiple laps of the Neon Flat route.
Melissa felt like sprinting this evening. As time expired on our 60 minute ride, we all put out power through the final sprint banner. Tim’s hit an impressive 741 watts for his 15 second power average.
We talked about upcoming gravel events next year. I may have talked Tim into riding the Massochistah. Although, he needs to put new tires on his holiday list.
Charlie joined the Discord conversation for a few minutes. He is in the middle of moving, but promised to have his trainer up and running for Saturday’s ride.
We all helped Iggy with some Zwift topics. He converted his account to kilometers to earn drops faster. The rest of us have challenges thinking in kilometers! We suggested to Iggy that he check out Zwift Insider to learn about the best wheels and frames available.
Tomorrow’s race is another short one, which means it will be fast. Here is the link to the 6 PM event.
Tim completed level 34 and earned his avatar a pair of Mavic shoes. Iggy can now rock Oakley Radar sunglasses after moving to level 10. We all earned the Neon Flats route achievement, which doubled our XP points for the first lap.
At the end of the hour, we completed approximately 20 miles with 570 feet of climbing.
