Tonight’s ride took us to the Makuri Islands. Zwift is supposed to launch new routes on the island soon, but in the meantime, we road the Three Village Loop.

We had four riders (Melissa, Tim, Zinj, and me) for our 60 minute journey. Zinj joined us about 25 minutes into the ride and although he was in the meetup, Zwift took him on a much different route than the rest of us. We still saw him on course as his route crossed our route.

On Discord, Tim told us about visiting his office today. It was a bit like a time capsule from early 2020. He had doubts as to the freshness of the Lunchables and hardboiled eggs in the vending machine.

Melissa shared her training secrets, which assisted her surpassing Jonathan by one second in last night’s hill climb. Zinj told us about his appliance search. Thanksgiving meal prep was also an interesting topic.

By the end of the hour we had done three laps of the course for approximately 20 miles and 909 feet of climbing.

Melissa earned the Three Village Loop route achievement, which doubled her XP points for the first lap.
