Sorry for the late post here – I had a few other priorities this evening.
So perhaps the secret to a good hillclimb is to squeeze out of work a few minutes early, ride like a possessed demon to the start line, grab a quick drink from your sister’s water bottle and then go like an even more possessed demon to the top. Yes, that’s what Gus did tonight. Impressive!
There was something else going on tonight. PR’s were shattered by insane amounts. Henry W by 4:14, Tim P by 3:12, Andy M by 3:02, Ben W by 2:44, Melissa W by 2:20, Henry vdB by 1:18 and Gus L by 1:10. Holy yikes! With a close second place tonight, Ben takes over the lead in the hillclimb series.
