A hill climb, in person, on a hot, sticky, hazy and murky night! There were attacks, there were counter attacks, there were drops, there were counter drops, there were counter attack drops! Man, it was just like the old days! Our first mass start hill climb after a handful of cancellations due to rain and/or 100+ heat indices.
Two folks chose to do it on their own earlier – Patrick (1st) and Tim (15th) – and two folks tried to make the mass start but were just a tad bit late so missed the magic of the peloton. We had a guest starter in the guise of John Fabel who just happened to be sauntering by and then the fun began.
Four people had PRs – Patrick )1:54), Andy (24), Ben (35) and Zinj (24). I’m seriously doubting Madeline’s time but this is what she reported, more or less.
I will have to miss next week’s Deerfield TT so Jonathan OK will be in charge. If you need to email him results, he’s at jonathan.okeeffe@gmail.com.
