I actually talked to some people in NCC kits tonight! It was a little surreal to see some familiar faces and bikes in real life for the first time in about a year and a half. We didn’t have a huge turnout for our first in person Tuesday TT/HC event since our rules changed (5 people met in Hatfield at 6 pm) but I’m guessing that the hill climbs might see bigger numbers starting next week.
Eight other folks did the TT on their own. Carson and Madeline got up good and early to do it while Kevin probably had to TT home to beat the dark.
Strava times were 2, 5, 13 and 54 seconds faster except for one anomaly which has me a little perplexed – a difference of 6 minutes and 13 seconds. Hmmmmm. I used their Garmin time as I think they were capable of doing the time they reported.
I hit and killed some large rodent on the return leg this evening. Almost bought the farm but managed to steady the ship.
