Social distancing, COVID-19, and snow in the forecast can make it hard to remember that Spring is just around the corner (it technically started a few days ago). Part of the reality that we’re now living is that all Club events have been cancelled or postponed until May 5th at the earliest. It’s a bitter pill to swallow, because the Tuesday Night TT Series was supposed to start this week, and Saturday B-Rides were coming up too. They’ll still happen, but not until early May.

However, as video chats are replacing in-person gatherings, our Zwift rides will continue for a while to preserve the social element of the NCC as much as possible. There are a couple per week, so please check out the calendar and join in!

At the moment the Commonwealth of Massachusetts hasn’t instituted a Stay at Home order, though an advisory is now in effect. So please be safe and considerate, stay home as much as possible, and join us on Zwift.

This is a strange, scary time for lots of us. Every day is different and brings news that can be overwhelming. We hope this is only a delay and that we’ll be back on the road as a Club soon. Safety of our members, friends, family, and community comes first though, and we’ll follow expert guidance as it comes about.

Be well and stay safe. Hopefully we’ll see you soon.
