The C group eventually coalesced to a group of 8 by the time we got to Mountain Road in Haydenville. We stopped briefly at Page’s in Conway, did some cyclo training on Taylor Road in Shelburne, and split into two groups when we reached the outskirts of Greenfield. 3 riders needed to get home and so turned south via Upper Road/Deerfield but the other 5 of us crossed over the river into Turners Falls for a scenic canal tour (and second pit stop at 2nd St Bakery) before returning via Montague & Rt 47.
