Great sunny and windy ride today with 8 NCC folks (Roberto, Peter C, Joe L, Paul D, Don F, Jonathan B, Todd H and myself). We did the old Wednesday loop and I flatted within the first few miles (thanks to my pit crew of Todd and Peter for a quick change) but in my rush, didn’t quite get the tube under the tire bead so had to make a second stop. We kept a pretty good pace through the chewed up roads and puddles. Don and Paul split off in Whately while the rest of us continued through Deerfield, Sunderland and then into a brisk headwind down Route 47 through Hadley. I logged just about 3 hours and 52 miles and achy legs! Fun fun fun!

Nice to ride with you guys!

4.5 hours on one water bottle, not my best idea ever. Let’s just say I was a tad knackered when I finally made it home.

Hear, hear. The ride itself was about 45 miles, 1,034ft of elevation gain and about 17 mph. Here (http://app.strava.com/rides/3679701) is the link to my STRAVA recording. Please note that I am a little slower than the rest of the folks and I crapped-out once Joe and I got to the bikepath, so the average is a little low.
