Big turnout for a perfect night – too many people to mention except for Paul Gerstein (he had a radio collar on him and Brad was tracking his progress getting to Noho for the 5:30 start – we took off at 5:33 so he had to chase to catch on). The take home message here is that these rides should leave on time, not 5 or 10 minutes late so try to show up at the scheduled time if you want to ride!!
The group took a very leisurely pace to W’burg. There was a natural split into an A, B and C group on the ascent. I fell back to the D group (a combo of the Tuesday HC, the Wednesday crit and stomach cramps) so can’t give a report of what happened then except my hats off to Rob, James and Mike for getting me back to Noho and to Zak, Zak and Andrew for getting me back to Amherst.
