Many options for today, the other two were killer so the standard Saturday ride came down to four of us – Kevin S, Michelle K, Ian M and myself, fresh off a self-imposed exile of close to 4 painful weeks of non-riding (except for trying to keep up with the kids cyclocross mayhem on Mondays). We opted for hills as it gave me the option to stand instead of sit. We headed up to Greenfield via North Farms Road, Whately center and the Upper Road, then climbed up to Shelburne via Cosby’s and Bardswell, passed the Elite Team going the other way on the way to Conway where I split off and took the short way back to Amherst. Great ride – thanks to Kevin, Michelle and Ian for being patient with me. 61 miles for my roundtrip.
